1. About this policy
This policy explains how Saeed Almuharrami Advocates & Legal Consultants (“the Firm”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on almuharramilegal.com (the “Site”), what those technologies do, and how you can control them.
It should be read together with our Data Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
We also use related technologies — local storage and similar identifiers. Where this policy refers to cookies, it covers those technologies too.
3. Why we use them
We use cookies to:
- keep the Site secure and functioning correctly
- remember your cookie preferences and display settings
- understand which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the Site
- measure whether our content reaches the audiences we intend
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
4. Categories of cookie we use

6. Confidentiality and professional secrecy
As a licensed advocacy and legal consultancy practice, the Firm is bound by strict duties of professional secrecy. Those duties govern how this Site operates.
- Cookies are used only in connection with general use of the Site. They are never used to identify individual clients, matters, or the substance of any enquiry.
- Do not send confidential or privileged information through any website form, chat widget or messaging button. These are not secure channels, and using them does not create a lawyer–client relationship or impose any duty on the Firm. Please contact us so that a secure channel can be established before you share anything sensitive.
- No conflict check has been performed until we confirm one in writing. Until then, information you send is not treated as confidential.
- Enquiry data submitted through the Site is handled under our Data Privacy Policy. Where an engagement follows, it is governed by our engagement letter and by the Firm’s professional obligations of secrecy.
- Cookie data is never used for any purpose connected to legal advice, matter handling, or client identification, and is never disclosed to any counterparty.
7. Your choices
Consent banner. On first visit you may accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or select categories. You can change your choice at any time via in the footer of every page.
Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.
Withdrawal. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
8. Legal basis and jurisdiction
We process cookie data on the following bases:
- Strictly necessary cookies — our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website.
- All other cookies — your consent.
Applicable law. The Firm is established in the United Arab Emirates and processes personal data in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations, alongside the professional obligations applicable to advocates and legal consultants in the UAE.
Visitors from other jurisdictions. Where visitors access the Site from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we apply the standards of the GDPR and applicable e-privacy rules — including obtaining consent before setting non-essential cookies. Where a free zone data protection regime applies (DIFC or ADGM), that regime is applied in addition.
9. Retention
Session data is cleared when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the periods stated in the table at section 5. Aggregated analytics data is retained for no longer than 24 months.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
